Buehler’s Fresh Foods Partners With the Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio

Buehler’s Fresh Foods recently raised just over $10,000 at their registers for the Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio (ASPO) “Ability to Play” campaign. Buehler’s customers and employees are to thank for this extraordinary effort. These funds are especially crucial during these critical days of COVID-19 and allow ASPO to safely provide health and wellness activities for individuals living with disabilities. “We are very fortunate to live in a community that supports and empowers athletes with disabilities. On behalf of all of us at ASPO, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity,” said Lisa Followay, President and CEO of ASPO.Lisa Followay and her son, Casey, are a significant source of inspiration and force behind Ohio having the resources and funding for folks who must use adaptive sporting equipment. Buehler’s is honored to assist them with their mission.

“As President of the Board of Directors for ASPO, I would personally like to thank our customers at Buehler’s Fresh Foods for their generous donations made at our July register campaign. Thanks to all of you, we reached our goal of raising more than $10,000 to support our athletes and programs,” explained Jeff Tomassetti, Produce and Floral Director at Buehler’s Fresh Foods and ASPO Board of Directors Member.
